agy

The Antigravity CLI (agy), Google's coding agent for the terminal, installed from a specific release.

Installs the Antigravity CLI, Google’s coding agent for the terminal. The command is on the system PATH as agy.

devtools:
  - name: agy

That is the whole install. It needs no other devtool.

Logging in

Sign in from a shell on the workstation (rl shell <workstation>), as Antigravity’s own documentation describes.

Version behavior

version is a whole Antigravity release name: a version number and a build number joined by a dash. It is used exactly as you write it. A version number on its own, such as 1.2.2, is not a release name, and the install fails on the workstation.

The Antigravity CLI updates itself in the background as you use it. So version sets the release that is installed, and the CLI may move to a newer one afterwards.

Notes

  • The recipe is safe to re-run: a workstation that already has agy on PATH is skipped.
  • Works on Debian and Ubuntu, on amd64 and arm64. Alpine is refused, because Antigravity publishes no build for it.
